When frozen food is thawed, it is prone to rapid degradation of key nutritional components. This is, in part, due to the activation of specific enzymes which have been held in stasis while the products have been frozen. In order to slow this process down and ensure that beneficial nutrients do not oxidise or go rancid, Vitalis Aquatic Nutrition delivers advanced enrichments for this application.

Marine Frozen Food Enrichment delivers natural pigments and products derived from food sources with nutritional benefits (neutraceuticals). These are blended with a mix of marine fish oils, to enable the enhancement of the nutritional profile of frozen foods.
