M4 LP Cannon produces single bangs which can be regulated from one bang every 30 seconds to one bang every 20 minutes, and uses a piezo ignition system, which operates without batteries or electricity and produces up to 200,000 ignitions.

The use of ear protection is recommended when operating the M4. It is designed to be fired in an open field and placed on a flat ground. For best safety practices, do not use the M4 near dry vegetation or material. For best results, change locations and vary the rate of fire often.
