Model C12TD-36 measures 36L x 12W x 12H and is constructed with 1 x 1/2″ – 14 gauge mesh. It features a rear transfer door making transfer or release of captured animals very easy. It also allows the trap to be baited from the rear rather than through the front of the trap which risks setting it off.

Like the larger 12×18 swim through Comstock Beaver Cage Trap, the 12×12 is designed for beaver and otter to be used in smaller runs, tighter spots, to be placed upside down, but will perform in any position. The 12×12 sized cage traps have taken beaver 50 pounds and larger. Placed on land the 12×12 will take large raccoon, armadillos, otters, opossums, woodchucks, skunks, fishers, like size animals and even bobcats.
