The Safeguard Universal Trapmodel 53000 is designed for burrowing animals such as woodchucks, opossums, skunks and similar sized animals. It has a built-in nosecone (opening in the bottom of the trap) which allows it to be placed directly over an animal’s burrow. It can also be flush mounted against an opening in a structure using the sliding front door. And,it can be used as a traditional baited trap.
