Wickenkamp Model 28 Live Cage Trap measures 10″H x 8″W x 28″L and is built Wickenkamp TOUGH. It’s made of 1″ x 1/2″ x 14ga. galv. wire and 3/16″ steel rod. It’s thesame as Model 28; plus bottom half of door has closer horizontal spacing of rods (less than 1/2″ apart). Top of door has a 1 1/8″ gap to allow Euthanizing Stick to be inserted. Animals can’t reach outside of trap; therefore less disturbance of outer perimeter and less debris in the trap. Great for Rabbit, Squirrel, Skunk, & Raccoon.
Since this trap is has a gravity activated door you must stake it down so it won’t roll over. It comes with one trap stake for that purpose. An added benefit which some find desirable is, if a non-target is captured you simply have to roll the trap over and the door falls open, releasing the animal. Great for relocation also.
